General Data Protection Regulations 05/2018 With the recent introduction of new regulations governing the handling of personal data, we felt it was necessary to reassure members that ALL information held – names, addresses, telephone numbers (home & mobile), email addresses, Volvos owned, etc – are all held securely and for use solely for Club purposes – e.g. to distribute the magazines or contact you on Club business. We do not share your data with anyone. Anyone wishing to view or have their data revised/deleted should contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) Gillian Whitton via email: secretary@volvoenthusiastsclub.org Our membership forms have now been revised to include an additional signature box confirming your consent. Pleased be assured that we take your privacy very seriously and will only use information provided by you to contact you for Club purposes.
FBHVC Affiliation
The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs is a grouping of some 350 Clubs and Museums together with over 1500 Trade and Individual Supporters. The aim of the Federation is to preserve the right to use old vehicles on the roads without any undue restriction and to support its member organisations in whatever way it can.
By your membership of the Volvo Enthusiasts Club 2010, you are helping to ensure that you can continue to use your classic car on the roads of the UK and Europe with as little modification and legal restriction as possible.
Volvo Enthusiasts Club 2010 is a social-recreational organization with over 300 members. Our members come from all walks of life and have a wide range of individual interests. However, we are all bound in friendship by a common thread of passion for Classic Volvo Cars.

Objective
To ecourage interest in classic Volvo Vehicles
To facilitate in the preservation and restoration of such cars
To organise events and functions as may be desirable to further these objectives.
Aims
To drive our classic Volvo's on a regular basis so that they can be seen and enjoyed by all
Maintain, Preserve and recomission them in either original or modified condition
Organise activities and take part in events that encourage the use of our Volvo cars
Provide services and advice to VEC2010 members to assist in these aims
Work with other organisations that share some of these aims but not be tied to them
Have Fun

VEC2010 Purpose
Is to promote the usage, preservation and renovation of all Volvo branded Vehicles out of production .
All out of production Volvos are welcome regardless of condition .
